Performance Architect

We are seeking a Performance Test Architect to join a leading organization headquartered in Newton, MA, working onsite 3 days per week. This full-time role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, including MongoDB, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Angular, and Dynatrace, while playing a critical role in tuning, optimizing, and ensuring peak system performance. You will be responsible for recommending and implementing tuning changes that directly impact scalability, reliability, and user experience across high-demand systems.

Required Skills & Experience
· Proven experience recommending and implementing tuning changes for enterprise systems
· Expertise in MongoDB, GCP, Angular, and Dynatrace
· Strong troubleshooting skills with application code, hardware, software, and networking
· Experience setting up and running automated performance tests with Docker
· Ability to design, configure, and run performance tests to validate system performance and stability
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Desired Skills & Experience
· Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
· Experience in Continuous Performance programs for long-term system reliability
· Familiarity with network profiling tools such as WireShark and Fiddler
· Strong understanding of SLAs, monitoring dashboards, alerting, logging, and tracing
· Experience with performance testing in both cloud and on-prem environments

The Offer
• Base salary: $160K–$170K + 5% bonus
