Senior Fullstack/Backend Python Engineer

We are currently working with a global leader in education and child care to specializes in both early education, workplace education, and high quality childcare. They have hundreds of childcare centers across the US and specialize in real time communication between caregivers and parental figures. They also offer in house child care for some of their larger clients. 

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in Fullstack Python development. Also, having some exposure to building out responsive mobile systems would be a bonus. Ideally you've worked across the stack but are very comfortable with the Backend leaning aspects of Python.

This role will be hybrid onsite at their Newton, MA, office and is a full time, direct hire role. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years in application development with large-scale business applications.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing business solutions end-to-end.
• Backend development expertise using Python for mobile and web applications, comfortable with either Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid experience in hybrid mobile development frameworks (e.g., Ionic/Angular).
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience in containerization technologies and cloud-based application development.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to decompose complex architectural problems into smaller, logical solutions.
• Excellent mentoring skills for team members.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
