Azure Security Engineer / Norcross, GA / 1 Day Hybrid

A growing SaaS shop here in Atlanta is looking to grow their security department further. This company is responsible for handling debt collections for reputable financial organizations across the USA. They are hiring an Azure Cloud Security Engineer to their team full-time and in their office once a week in Atlanta, GA. You will be the missing puzzle piece in their environment to help with growing cybersecurity needs internally.

You will be joining a team of 3 to help with this company’s cloud security infrastructure, curate a roadmap for their network security, and help train others within the network and security engineering teams. Daily This is a great growth opportunity for the right person to take advantage of!

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a professional security role
• Network administration security expertise
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server
• Ability to mentor/ lead security efforts internally
• Knowledge of industry security standards (ISO, NIST, etc.)
• Proven experience monitoring cyber security in cloud environments with Azure

Desired Skills & Experience

• Ability to help with compliance needs (SOC2)
• Familiarity with scripting using Python or PowerShell
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Local Atlanta resident
• BS in CS from accredited university
