We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with a deep understanding of user behavior, retention strategies, and acquisition modeling to join a fast-paced, product-focused organization. This role is at the forefront of driving growth and engagement through advanced data insights, A/B testing, and predictive analytics. The ideal candidate has experience working in a high-growth, user-centric environment and is passionate about leveraging data to improve product experiences and optimize key performance metrics.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, preferably in a product-focused company with a heavy emphasis on daily active users.
- Proven expertise in A/B testing, experimental design, and measuring the impact of product changes on user behavior.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with user acquisition, retention, and churn prediction models.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Familiarity with attribution modeling and customer journey analysis.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of product metrics, including DAU/MAU ratios, LTV, and cohort analysis.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation techniques and personalization strategies.
- Exposure to data-driven product development in the e-commerce, media, or social networking space.
- Ability to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define and measure success metrics.
