Technical Business Systems Analyst 2

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a skilled Technical Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Peoria, IL.

This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in the telecommunications domain, underpinned by a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• You will act as a critical liaison between business and technology teams—translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions across multiple domains including UI, mobile apps, backend service applications, and subscription management.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Work with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met
• Participate in system configuration and application subscription management
• Support UI/UX initiatives, mobile app workflows, and backend service process enhancements
• Operate effectively in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an enterprise environment
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical business analysis capacity
• Background in telecommunications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
• Billing systems
• Mobile application workflows
• Backend service processes
• UI design and usability principles
• Strong skills in system configuration and subscription lifecycle management
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable
• Familiarity with both frontend and backend service-based applications
• Understanding of mobile app development workflows
• Experience in requirement analysis and technical documentation
• Knowledge of subscription management and system configuration tools
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
