.NET Engineer / Remote / EST / Start-Up Experience Required

This company delivers end-to-end support in the insurance claims lifecycle — from first notice of loss through repair, restoration, and settlement. They operate call center support, claims management and loss adjusting, contractor networks, repair/restoration services, temporary housing, contents valuation, subrogation/recovery, and more. They partner with insurers, third-party administrators, and self-insured entities, offering scalable and integrated solutions that streamline claims operations while ensuring quality, compliance, and speed.

They are seeking a talented .NET Engineer with proven experience in fast-paced startup environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, .NET Core+, SQL, and API development, paired with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic culture. Experience with JavaScript is a nice-to-have. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on .NET Core+
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL, and API development
• MUST HAVE: prior experience working in a startup environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown:

• 20% maintenance
• 80% new development

Daily Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and APIs using C# and .NET Core+
• Build and optimize SQL databases, ensuring reliability and performance
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Participate in code reviews, mentor teammates, and contribute to best practices
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and help drive innovation within a startup setting
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Office Location

• 100% Remote
• Working in EST required
