We are seeking a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA). In this role, you will be responsible for leading assessments, interpreting requirements, and ensuring compliance with CMMC practices and controls. You will engage directly with stakeholders to evaluate documentation, processes, and evidence, while providing expert recommendations to remediate gaps and achieve certification readiness. They need someone who is comfortable being client facing.
This is a senior, hands-on position requiring deep knowledge of the CMMC framework, NIST 800-171, and related standards. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience conducting assessments, managing client relationships, and delivering clear, actionable findings. This opportunity is ideal for a CCA-certified professional who can work independently, manage multiple engagements, and drive successful compliance outcomes. They need a T3 Cleared CCA or Lead CCA.

Required Skills & Experience
- CCA or Lead CCA certification
- Tier 3 Security Clearance
- Experience engaging with clients directly.
- Experience leading and executing CMMC controls.
- BA in computer science, MIS, or related field
- Security+, CCSP or CISSP

- 80% CMMC framework assessments, practices, and controls
- 10% NIST 800-171 and FedRAMP
- 10% Governance, reporting, and compliance tools
Daily Responsibilities
- 60% Conducting CMMC assessments, evidence reviews, and gap analysis
- 10% Interpreting and applying NIST 800-171 controls where applicable
- 30% Client-facing work: leading meetings, presenting findings, and advising on remediation steps
