Fullstack Java Developer

A well-known company in the insurance industry is hiring a Fullstack Developer to one of their engineering teams. You will be joining a team focused on financial applications within the organization. They are looking for someone with strong experience coding in backend Java and JavaScript on the frontend. The ideal candidate has also worked with microservices and test-driven development. Any experience with cloud would be a bonus. This is a remote opportunity, but prefer individuals on the East Coast for time zone alignment with the rest of the team. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience coding in Java/Spring Boot
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
• Microservices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• Excellent communication

Desired Skills & Experience

• MongoDB or other non-relational database experience
• Test-driven development (TDD), preferably Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Cloud experience
