A leading healthcare provider in Philadelphia is looking to hire a skilled Network Automation Engineer to join their IT infrastructure team. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in network automation and infrastructure
- Expertise in network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Proficient with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
- Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience working with network hardware and devices from Cisco, Juniper, or similar
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
- Solid understanding of ITIL and network security best practices
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in large-scale hospital or healthcare IT environments
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies
- Knowledge of networking in a Virtualized Environment (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with network performance tuning and optimization
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing, automating, and managing network configurations and topologies
- Automating network provisioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network automation solutions
- Developing and maintaining scripts for monitoring and managing network performance
- Ensuring high availability, security, and compliance for the hospital’s network infrastructure
- Supporting network optimization efforts, including performance tuning and scalability
