Network Automation Engineer

 A leading financial company is looking to hire a skilled Network Automation Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for automating network systems, improving network efficiency, and ensuring high availability for critical applications. 

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with network engineers and IT operations teams to optimize network processes, improve security, and reduce manual tasks through automation. You will also be teaming up with the Team Lead to migrate the network to the cloud. They are looking for someone who has past cloud migration experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network automation and infrastructure
• Expertise in network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
• Proficient with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar
• Strong experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Strong Cloud Network Experience (AWS, Azure)
• Cloud Migration Expertise
• Experience working with network hardware and devices from Cisco, Juniper, or similar
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
• Solid understanding of ITIL and network security best practices

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies
• Knowledge of networking in a Virtualized Environment (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with network performance tuning and optimization

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing, automating, and managing network configurations and topologies
• Automating network provisioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement network automation solutions
• Developing and maintaining scripts for monitoring and managing network performance
• Ensuring high availability, security, and compliance for the hospital’s network infrastructure
• Supporting network optimization efforts, including performance tuning and scalability
