Network Security Manager / Greater Philly Area Only

This payment processing company local to Philly is looking for a Network Security Manager to be the right hand to their Director. This person will be leading a small team of analysts and engineers but will still be able to remain hands on keyboard with Network Security and SecOps. They will be responsible for improving the organization’s overall security posture and have a strong impact on the program. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in network security (Palo Alto preferred) and SecOps/incident response. Experience with WAF management, firewall configurations, and engineering SIEM tools is strongly encouraged. People management experience is required. This is a mostly remote position, but only candidates local to the Greater Philly area will be considered. Occasional office presence in Center City will be expected but is very few and far between.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network security and security operations
  • Palo Alto preferred
  • Firewall configuration
• Strong skills in SIEM/incident response
• People management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to go into the Philadelphia office once a month or so

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cloud experience
• Knowledge of PCI compliance
