Palo Alto Firewall Engineer/Remote but local to Philly

This is an exciting opportunity for a Palo Alto Network Engineer to join a well-established, tech-first SaaS organization headquartered in the Philadelphia area. While the role is primarily remote, candidates must be local to Philly and able to commute on-site occasionally. The company operates in a highly regulated, enterprise environment and is deeply invested in modern network security, leveraging Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and next-gen security technologies across a complex infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
· Strong knowledge of Panorama for centralized firewall management
· Experience with network security concepts (VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, routing, policies)
· Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting
· Experience working in enterprise or highly secure environments

Desired Skills & Experience

· Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE)
· Experience with cloud security integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
· Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible, or similar)
· Experience with compliance or regulated industries
