As a Network Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our client's network infrastructure. Your expertise in Linux will play a crucial role in automating network tasks, improving network performance, and supporting a seamless operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
  • Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain scripts and automation workflows to streamline network configuration and management tasks.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to integrate automation solutions into existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring minimal disruption to network services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network automation processes and solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network automation technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in network automation and Linux system administration.
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or relevant Linux certifications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their networking services.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
