Senior Data Engineer – Remote (U.S. Based)

In this position, you’ll help evolve and scale a cloud-based financial data platform, working with technologies like Spark, AWS EMR, and Glue to support high-volume data processing, analytics, and integrations across business systems.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering roles
• Spark, AWS Glue, or EMR
• ETL/ELT pipelines and distributed data processing
• REST APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures
• FAgile and DevSecOps environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting financial systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Workday)
• Background in insurance or financial services industry
• Familiarity with cloud-first development strategies
• Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
• Interest in contributing to platform architecture decisions

• 40% Building and maintaining scalable cloud pipelines
