Senior Frontend Creative Engineer – Remote/Toronto
We are seeking a design focused Senior Frontend Engineer to join the engineering team at an ever-growing fast-moving sport centered consulting company! This is a full-time permanent role offering a fully remote work structure for candidates based out of Toronto or Greater Toronto area operating in EST time zone.
We’re looking for a Frontend focused Developer with expertise in React, TypeScript and CMS (WordPress, Content Stack, Payload, etc.). This is a great opportunity for candidates with a design-oriented background to creatively develop tech solutions for their client’s needs. You’ll contribute to clients within the sports, media, and entertainment industries with the opportunity to meet with stakeholders and create detailed animation, pacing, and motion. Required Skills & Experience
- React, modern JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Content Stack, Payload, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.
- Experience with ThreeJS and GSAP
- Expertise in motion design as part of interaction design using animation
- Ability to translate brand stories into interactive experiences that surprise and delight
- Previous agency/consulting experience
- Industry knowledge in sporting, media, and/or entertainment
- Excellent communication skills to deliver regular stakeholder presentations
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments
- You’ll focus on details of animation, pacing, and motion to create moments of surprise, delight, and emotional connection.
- Focus solely on delivering Frontend solutions using modern JavaScript Frameworks (React, TypeScript)
- 100% Frontend
- Daily use of React, modern JavaScript, TypeScript
- 100% hands on; this job does not require any supervisory responsibilities
- This is a Senior position in terms of your technical abilities
