A leading Fortune 500 financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager (Cloud) to join its cloud platform team. The organization is undergoing significant digital transformation, with a focus on leveraging public cloud technologies to modernize infrastructure and improve service delivery across global operations.
Position OverviewThe Technical Product Manager will play a critical role in driving the strategic vision, development, and delivery of cloud-native solutions, with an emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, security, compliance, and enterprise architecture—to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities-
Own the product roadmap for cloud infrastructure capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and digital initiatives.

Lead the development and rollout of cloud-native services including container platforms, serverless frameworks, and infrastructure automation.

Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement highly available and compliant cloud architectures.

Translate business requirements into technical deliverables and prioritize features based on stakeholder input and value.

Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud platform capabilities, particularly AWS or GCP, driving best practices and adoption across teams.

Define KPIs and success metrics to track and improve product performance.

Ensure alignment with security, governance, and compliance standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and regulatory changes, informing product direction and innovation.
Required:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, with a strong technical background.

3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS or GCP in an enterprise setting.

Proven track record of delivering cloud-based infrastructure products or platforms.

Solid understanding of DevOps, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
Preferred:

Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.

Experience within highly regulated environments, ideally financial services or banking.

Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS, NIST).

Proficiency in tools like Jira, Aha!, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
