QA Automation Engineer / Playwright / Remote / AZ Hours

A tech consulting client is actively hiring multiple QA Automation Engineers to join their expanding team. The broader initiative involves building an integrated tax system for a state government, designed to manage over 26 different tax types. These QA Engineers will play a key role in developing an automated testing framework using Playwright, enabling end-to-end testing as the platform continues to scale.

This candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the US but most be comfortable working Arizona hours.

Contract Duration: 12-18 months
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience focused on QA Engineering
  • Hands on experience with Playwright for test automation, ideally building frameworks from scratch
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies and frameworks
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing
  • Familiarity with performance testing preparation and collaboration with process development teams
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Prior experience with or around integrated tax systems
