Telgian is a fire safety company that's based in the Phoenix area. They design fire systems and do inspections with fire systems as well. They're a bit of a smaller company with around 350 people, but they have 7 locations across the country; Phoenix being their largest office. They're looking to bring on a Sys Admin to join their team of 3-4. This team does the basics when it comes to Sys Admin work - utilizing Active Directory, Dynamics 365, IssueTrak, and all of the Office applications. They're a Windows shop and a VMware shop. As for the tickets you'll be working, you'll be handling password resets, account unlocks, VPN issues, ISP issues, rebooting systems, shipping and receiving hardware, etc.
The hiring manager is just as much "in the weeds" as the rest of the team. He's been at Telgian for 25 years and is actually the one setting up the LAN/WAN, working with VMware, writing scripts occasionally.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 8-5 on-site
On call every 3 weeks, but most on call tickets can be resolved in 15 minutes.
Skill requirements:
Experience with AD (preferably Azure)
O365 experience, Dynamics 365 experience
Microsoft SCCM experience
Experience working with firewalls
Interview process:
First with Branko, this is mix of a technical interview as well as a culture/personality fit.
There may be a second interview with Branko, but this could also be a one-and-done.

Terminations –
- Remove access in Active Directory
- Remove access in Exchange
- Apply email forwarding in Office 365
- Configure Barracuda Archiver settings
- Remove users from Avaya Cloud Office
- Backup user files to repository
