Senior Cloud Security Architect

A Saas company located in Tempe, AZ is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Architect to add to their growing team. They recently migrated the majority of their stack to AWS and have been trying to embrace a “cloud-native” approach. This engineer should be a true SME in securing cloud native environments, and they will work closely with other teams to draw security architecture plans. They embrace Terraform for IAC and would like to find someone experienced in that realm, as well as experience securing microservice architectures, orchestrated via Kubernetes. This candidate should also have a strong background in firewalls (on prem and cloud native), as well as compliance frameworks like ISO, SOC, NIST and PCI.
Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on securing AWS cloud environments
• Ability to write Terraform or CloudFormation modules to provision cloud infrastructure
• Strong background in firewalls, ideally on prem and in cloud environments
• Experience with compliance frameworks like NIST, ISO, SOC and PCI
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles
• Experience with Security Risk & Industry best practices

Desired Skills & Experience

• Certifications such as the CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, and AWS Solutions Architecture a big plus
