We are looking for a Senior Manager-level Cloud Engineer to lead the AWS infrastructure and DevOps strategy for highly regulated, mission-critical workloads. This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing cloud modernization, Kubernetes/EKS platforms, and operational governance while managing and mentoring senior engineers. The role partners closely with Security, DevOps, Data, and Application Engineering teams.
This role owns the cloud strategy end to end, architecture, execution, people leadership, and long-term roadmap. You’ll influence platform decisions on a scale, lead modernization and containerization efforts, and operate in a compliance-heavy environment (SOX, HIPPA) where reliability and security actually matter. High visibility, real ownership, and the ability to build and mature a cloud org the right way.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles
- 6+ years in technical leadership or people management
- Deep AWS expertise, including EKS and cloud native networking/security
- Strong Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration knowledge
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience
- Experience leading CI/CD modernization
- Experience partnering with InfoSec in regulated environments
- Strong understanding of SOX and HIPPA requirements
- Excellent communication and cross functional leadership skills
- AWS Professional certifications
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
- FinOps or cloud cost optimization experience
- Experience supporting large scale distributed systems
- Background in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
