Job Description:
Our esteemed client boasts a substantial workforce of over 5000 professionals spread across North America. From its modest origins as a small business, the company has evolved into an industry titan, reigning as the foremost distributor of shipping, packaging, and industrial supplies on the entire continent.
You will be joining a team of 13 people while also working with architects from the network team, security, desktop, etc. You will be doing operational support with their standing design solutions, as well as being the main point of contact for anything that you build out from scratch. You will also be supporting 1000+ servers, automating server builds and providing guidance for all IT Hosting Services.

Job Responsibilities:
  •  Design and create robust, scalable hosting solutions that ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
  •  Gather requirements from various stakeholders such as end users and department heads.
  •  Provide leadership and technical expertise for IT Hosting Services projects.
  •  Develop architectural plans and conduct Proof of Concept testing with thorough documentation.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish architectural models before proceeding with testing.
  •  Draft, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and solutions for IT Hosting Services.
  •  Lead initiatives to explore new architectural possibilities within IT Hosting Services.
  • Promote awareness and effective management of risks, including disaster prevention and change management.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Over 8 years of experience working with multiple operating systems.
  • Ability to travel to branch offices and international locations as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of managing effectively in complex organizational structures.
