Microsoft 365 Security Engineer / Defender / Zero Trust

A major energy production company is looking for a M365 Security Engineer to design and implement a secure M365 environment for their global firm. You'll act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Defender, Endpoint protection, IGA, and Zero Trust principles.

Ideal candidates have hands on experience working with M365 security, centered on the build and run/maintain functions. This is not a consultant role. Candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiency within M365's security suite and leverage tools to optimize identity, endpoint, cloud, and application protections.

This role is remote hybrid, 2 days on-site in Raleigh, NC

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ YOE with Microsoft suite, including M365
• Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite
• Experience designing, and building M365 environment
• Experience with Identity Governance and Identity Administration
• Strong communication skills
