We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity to join a highly skilled development team focused on delivering scalable, high-performance solutions using React.js, Node.js, and AWS serverless architecture.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with strong front-end expertise in React, solid back-end development skills using Node.js, and real-world experience deploying services in a cloud-native environment. This role emphasizes front-end development, but flexibility to contribute to the back-end is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality, scalable React-based user interfaces
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js in a serverless AWS environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews
- Contribute to infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Document design decisions and technical specifications
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability across applications
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in React.js and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong backend experience with Node.js
- Solid knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, and CloudWatch
- Experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- UI development experience with HTML5, CSS3, DHTML
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline preferred)
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies
- Experience with additional AWS services such as Route 53, VPC, KMS, ELB/ALB
- Automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright)
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- Exposure to data science or machine learning tools (e.g., SageMaker)
- AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, etc.)
