Software Development Manager/Reston/$160k

An industry leader in the construction industry is looking for a Software Development Manager to join their team in Reston, Virgina. You will be managing a team that is working on core business software with C#, .NET Core, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SQL. Experience managing and mentoring small, software development teams is a key competency for this role. Experience working on CRM software (specifically Dynamics 365) is a plus for this position.

• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft web development (C#, .NET core, SQL)
• Responsive design experience on the frontend with JavaScript
• Prior history managing a software development team (developers and QA)
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science/Engineering preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think outside the box and be solution oriented
• Previous experience working on CRM software (Dynamics 365) is a plus

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

• 50% Frontend development/maintenance (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• 50% Backend development/maintenance (C#, .NET core, REST, SQL)

Daily Responsibilities

• 10% Hands On
• 90% People Management
