We are searching for a motivated engineer or Product Manager with an interest in the physical side of IT infrastructure & hardware. In this position you will be managing products full-lifecycle from inception & vision to strategy and execution for edge appliances, servers, and integrated processing systems. You will serve as a bridge between internal teams (engineering, sales, operations) both to ensure high performance product delivery as well as competitive strategy and positioning.
This is a high-autonomy position ideal for someone who has either worked in startups before or is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Individuals who excel in this role will be comfortable with making decisions in uncertainty and learning/iterating quickly. This position is ideal for someone who already has prior experience with IT hardware from a hands-on engineering or implementation perspective and has an interest & demonstrated aptitude in the product side – even if they have not served in an official product management capacity before.
This is an on-site position in Dallas, TX Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-4 + years of hardware (mechanical/electrical engineering, IoT devices, servers, data storage, or similar)
  • Fundamental knowledge of product management
    • Product Lifecycle
    • Competitive analysis/positioning
    • Relationship management with internal stakeholders, suppliers, etc
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer, Software, mechanical, software, etc), or equivalent experience
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in the physical security /monitoring industry
  • Prior experience working in startups
