Network Security Engineer

The ideal candidate is a skilled network engineer with hands-on experience in implementing Fortinet Security and NAC solutions. You will play a key role in ongoing projects, contributing to design, staging, configuration, and occasional rack and stack tasks for clients. An NSE 7 certification is required, with additional networking certifications considered a strong plus.

This fully onsite, direct-hire role in Richardson, Texas offers a competitive salary range of $100K to $130K. It’s a great opportunity for candidates looking to contribute to networking and security projects in a collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience deploying and managing enterprise Aruba ClearPass solutions.
• Proven ability to deliver at least one full ClearPass project, from planning to deployment and support.
• Strong understanding of network authentication protocols (e.g., RADIUS, TACACS+), 802.1X, and endpoint posture assessments.
• Expertise in wired and wireless networking concepts, including VLANs, SSIDs, controllers, and switching fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with SD-WAN solutions, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Fortinet products, especially FortiGate firewalls.
• Relevant certifications such as Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP), Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX), or Fortinet NSE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
