They are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Java Engineer to join their team in supporting and enhancing a core monolithic application. In this role, you’ll work on maintaining legacy code, implementing new features, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of our platform. Ideal candidates will have solid Java fundamentals, an eye for detail, and a willingness to work within a large, established codebase. Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on Java development experience
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and monolithic architecture
• Experience with Java 18 or newer, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based deployment
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with IntelliJ and Eclipse IDEs
• Exposure to Eclipse SWT and Apache Tomcat is a strong plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in an Agile development environment

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

• 75% new development
• 25% maintaince and enhancements

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monolithic Java applications using Java 18+
• Build RESTful services and backend logic with Spring Boot and Spring MVC
• Collaborate on UI components and tooling using Eclipse SWT
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization
• Deploy and support applications in an AWS cloud environment
• Debug and maintain applications running on Apache Tomcat
• Use IDEs such as IntelliJ and Eclipse for day-to-day development
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation

Office Location

• Richardson, TX
• Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
