Software Engineer / Java Engineer

A privately owned company in the healthcare and Biopharmaceuticals space are looking to hire anyone from Software Engineer I to Principal level engineers. They work on what is called Assay technology, which is when you run multiple tests all at the same time on a certain virus or pathogen. As you would imagine this technology has taken off over the past few years which has allowed their software department to continually grow. In this role you will be responsible for building the software that helps this information be circulated worldwide. With this, all of their applications are proprietary and therefore we do not have much detail on exactly what they do but something they will cover throughout the interview process. 

Required Skills & Experience 
3+ years of Java experience, both core Java and J2EE preferred (Mid Level) 
5+ years for Senior + 
Experience in Spring, Hibernate 
Web Services, Web API 
Relevant college degree 


Desired Skills & Experience 
Python is a plus 
AWS (or any cloud experience) 
Angular (or similar UI experience) 
Big Data Tools 
Worked on software that interfaced with hardware is a plus 
Ability to think quickly and creatively 
Hardworking, up-beat, positive team player 
Able to take constructive criticism and work on internal weaknesses
