Senior Data Engineer / Snowflake

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to our success.
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in utilizing various tools and technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, to manage and optimize our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining robust data pipelines, implementing data warehousing solutions, and ensuring data quality and reliability. Additionally, familiarity with the insurance industry is highly desirable. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Proficiency in Python programming language for data processing and automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for building and managing data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Databricks for big data processing and analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and related data challenges and requirements.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance standards within the insurance sector.
• Experience with additional data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Kafka or Apache Airflow
