Lead Java Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of a proven hands-on development experience in Financial Services industry
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead role
• Must have experience with Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0, Angular 14+, JavaScript, PL/SQL (Oracle 19c)
• Experience with Database Design and Optimization
• Experience with Microservices APIs
• Experience leading the development of full stack software solutions involving front end, middleware and backend
• Experience in technical managing of project teams
• Experience in working in Agile projects with good knowledge in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with high-performance, distributed computing environments
• Good verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proactive working attitude, quick learning ability, strong ownership and responsibility, good communication skills, and team spirit

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the development of full stack software solutions involving front end, middleware and backend.
• Use hands-on programming skills in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.0, Angular 14+, JavaScript, PL/SQL (Oracle 19c) to build applications.
• Responsible for overseeing DB Design and Optimization
• Work in Agile projects using good knowledge in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
