A leading Consulting Firm supporting 2,000 Silicon Chips Designers is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to work 100% remotely within the United States. This company has been operating for over 20 years and is profitable.
This Site Reliability Engineer will focus on helping build out a new Terraform environment from scratch. The current environment is a Windows and Linux hybrid with 20,000 physical servers running as a High performance Computing (HPC) environment. The Site Reliability Engineer will be supporting is entirely run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). To be successful in this role, the Site Reliability Engineer must have a strong background in building out new Terraform environments including writing custom Terraform modules and design principles such as reusable templates and automation. This role also requires strong Linux fundamentals and a deep understanding of core infrastructure services such as DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, and DHCP. Experience with RedHat suite of tools such Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Satellite, RedHat Directory Server, and RedHat Identity Management (IdM) is highly advantageous.

- 4+ years of as a Site Reliability Engineer.
- Strong Terraform experience
- Strong experience with Red Hat or RHEL, especially troubleshooting.
- Strong with most core infrastructure services including DNS, LDAP, NIS, NTP, DHCP, etc.
- Strong scripting (Shell/Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC).
- Experience with setting up monitoring services, preferably Splunk.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc)
- Red Hat Suite of tools including Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Satellite, Foreman, etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes
- 100% Hands On
- Annual bonus of $3k to $5k.
