Compliance Analyst | Contract | Metro Atlanta | Onsite

Our client, a large public-sector organization in Metro Atlanta, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support its Strategy & Technology department, which provides systems and operational support across the district, including dedicated support for multiple charter schools. This role will work closely with the Director of Charter Schools to ensure compliance with educational, operational, and system standards.

This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can evaluate processes, validate data and system usage, support audits and reviews, and produce clear, actionable reporting for leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Director of Charter Schools and Strategy & Technology leadership to support compliance across charter school operations

  • Monitor adherence to educational standards, district policies, and regulatory requirements applicable to charter environments

  • Review operational workflows and technology-enabled processes to ensure consistency and compliance

  • Validate data integrity and appropriate system usage across student information systems and other district platforms

  • Support audits, program reviews, and required compliance reporting

  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in processes, controls, and documentation

  • Develop and maintain compliance tracking tools, dashboards, and written reports

  • Prepare summaries, trends, and recommendations for leadership and oversight stakeholders

  • Track remediation plans and verify resolution of identified issues

  • Collaborate with school administrators, IT teams, and operational staff to reinforce standards and controls

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in compliance, audit support, program monitoring, or process governance

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Proficiency with Excel and reporting tools; experience with dashboards or BI tools is a plus

  • Ability to analyze both operational and system-related workflows

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to leadership

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across stakeholders and sites

Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting K–12 education, charter schools, or public-sector organizations

  • Familiarity with education compliance frameworks, student data governance, and accountability standards

  • Exposure to IT governance, data privacy (FERPA), or system access controls

  • Experience supporting internal or external audits and regulatory reporting

  • Onsite and/or hybrid schedule depending on departmental needs
