Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support the Escrow Department in a branch/office environment. This role focuses primarily on residential real estate transactions and involves providing administrative and customer service support to an Escrow Officer or team. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and comfortable handling multiple tasks related to escrow closings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the escrow process
- Open escrow orders and input closing statement information
- Prepare documents for closing and manage disbursements & follow-ups
- Communicate requirements and updates to clients & stakeholders
- Interpret agreements and prepare required transaction documents
Requirements:
- 2+ years of escrow-related experience
- Solid understanding of escrow functions and procedures
- Ability to work independently with guidance on complex tasks
- Experience following operational processes and suggesting improvements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Professional attitude with a positive service mindset
- Familiarity with escrow/client operating systems is a plus
