Senior Full Stack Software Engineer/ React / Go / Data

We are partnering with a Los Angeles based aviation technology company building next generation software platforms that power real-time flight operations, aircraft monitoring, and operational decision making. This is a full-time role focused on designing and scaling cloud-native, data-driven applications that integrate aircraft data, operational systems, and user-facing tools. The technology stack spans modern frontend frameworks, backend services, real-time data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical aviation systems.

This is not a typical software role you’ll be building systems that directly interact with the physical world of aviation. The #1 differentiator is real-time impact: your work will be used by operators, engineers, and aviation partners making live decisions every day. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack, software, or data engineer
• Strong experience building and maintaining backend services in Go or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and optimization
• Experience working with real-time or operational data systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience designing and consuming REST and/or gRPC APIs
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience operating data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Debezium, or similar)
• Background in aviation, aerospace, mobility, IoT, or logistics
• Experience with event-driven systems such as WebSockets or MQTT
• Exposure to sensor data, GPS, or fleet telemetry systems
• Startup or high-ownership engineering experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications used in aviation operations
• Developing backend services that process real-time flight and operational data
• Building intuitive, reliable frontend experiences for operational users
• Collaborating with aviation users, vendors, and internal teams to understand edge cases and operational constraints
• Improving system reliability, observability, and performance under heavy load
• Contributing to architecture decisions, best practices, and CI/CD workflows
