Golang Engineer / Kafka

One of our clients is looking to hire a Golang Engineer to be part of a high performing technology team focused on developing solutions for their loyalty platform. Located in North Scottsdale, this FinTech company is an industry leader and using modern technologies like Golang & Kafka. This is a contract-to-hire position and will be 3 days hybrid out of their N Scottsdale location.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months, will the ability to extend or convert
Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2 – 4+ years of experience in a modern development stack – preferably Golang 
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs. 
• Experience using tool like Kafka for Event Driven Development.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI). 
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building Cloud-Native Applications using AWS, GCP or Azure
