Manager of IT Cloud Security Governance

A major airline company is looking for an IT Cloud Security Governance Manager to be the first hire and build out their team! You'll play a critical role developing and enforcing a cloud security governance program across their organization. You'll ensure compliance of their cloud security alongside standards and business objectives. You'll define and enforce cloud security policies, collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams, and monitor cloud usage and performance, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
Ideal candidates have hands on experience as a cloud security engineer but have grown their career to develop and buildout cloud security governance programs.
This role is remote hybrid, 3 days on-site at SEA TAC Airport.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security
- 2+ years of experience in governance, risk and compliance
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native services
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloudformation, CDK, etc.)
- Experience with cloud security tools, CSPM, and/or CASB
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
