This Boston-based tech organization is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join a high-impact team building large-scale revenue cycle and automation systems used across the healthcare industry. This is a full-time role working onsite 1 day/week, and the team works heavily with Java, Python, AWS, Spring Boot, relational databases, and modern microservice architectures. plus opportunities to work with GenAI solutions.

Required Skills & Experience-
6+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong hands-on experience with Java and Python

Experience working with AWS services, containerization, and cloud-native deployments

Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, RESTful APIs

Experience with Spring Boot, Unix/Linux, and Kubernetes

Prior experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers

Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Must be local to the Boston area (on-site 1 day/week)

1+ years of experience designing or implementing GenAI / LLM-based solutions

Knowledge of scalable AI architectures, RAG, Agentic workflows, vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone)

Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, etc.

Perl experience is a bonus

Experience building decoupled or distributed applications
