Grow your career as a Senior Program Manager with an innovative global bank. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

May have responsibilities spanning across oversight committees and forums, as well as processes such as functional challenge, change control, Article/MRA/Gap Milestone closure, or corrective action plan management. Will need to effectively partner with stakeholders across the business unit and businesses and functions to support the ongoing processes, continually improve the guidance and drive towards efficient and sustainable best practices. May also be involved in the creation of reporting directly shared with the Regulators. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
  • Identify stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships.
  • Direct the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
  • Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.
  • Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives.
  • Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
  • Assist program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program can be completed.
  • Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Direct the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
  • Ensure creation and signoff of program plan and charter, benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.
  • Ensure program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities, understand the program schedule and key milestones and receive schedule status regularly.
  • Ensure program commitment from those assigning resources.
  • Escalate program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, as appropriate.
  • Evaluate subordinates' performance, where applicable, and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.
