Technical Business Data Analyst

Grow your career as a Technical Business Data Analyst with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension and/or conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 years of Financial Services experience.
• Experience with database and SQL is required.
• Expertise in wholesale loans/lending/trading business, Capital Markets Broker/Dealer, Finance or Risk Reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
• Experience in implementing data solutions and knowledge of big data platform.
• Experience with Data tracing/ Lineage efforts.
• Knowledge of logical and physical data models.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

 
Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work closely with the product owner, Data Analysts, various technology teams, and core developers.
• Analyze data requirements and identify disparate data sources required for consolidation and distribution.
• Review logical and conceptual data models in alignment with business requirements.
• Produce business specifications, functional design, and associated documentation.
• Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.
• Provide production deployment support and investigate data quality issues.
