AWS Cloud Architect/ Financial

This is an opportunity to bring enterprise-scale cloud experience into a role where architecture, development, and innovation intersect. As a Cloud Architect, you will guide hybrid cloud initiatives, lead proof-of-concept projects, and design systems that are both scalable and secure. It’s a position that balances technical depth with architectural vision, offering the chance to work on solutions that support long-term growth.

Based in downtown Toronto, with two days a week onsite, this hybrid role is hands-on. You’ll design and automate infrastructure using Terraform, while also building and optimizing backend services in NodeJS and TypeScript. Experience with Angular and AWS will be valuable as you help bridge cloud architecture with enterprise application delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven background in enterprise-scale cloud engineering and architecture (recent, extensive AWS required)

• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation

• Strong backend development skills in NodeJS and TypeScript

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Angular for full-stack integration

• Prior success leading proof-of-concept projects into production at scale

• Hands-On Engineering & Backend Development: 65%

• Architecture Leadership & Collaboration: 35%
