Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy
- Define, plan, and oversee the full lifecycle of the platform migration program, including initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Establish program governance, reporting structures, and decision-making frameworks to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive risk, dependency, and issue management with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Engage business and technology stakeholders across operations, compliance, risk, and IT functions to align objectives and expectations.
- Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities, including communication planning, training, and end-user adoption strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison between senior executives, program sponsors, external vendors, and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to define migration strategy, data conversion plans, and cutover approaches.
- Ensure program delivery aligns with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
- Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, and consultants engaged in the migration effort.
- Oversee end-to-end testing cycles (system, integration, user acceptance) to ensure data integrity and functional readiness.
- Manage program budget, forecasts, and resource allocations across multiple workstreams.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and benefits realization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of IT program/project management experience, with at least 3–5 years in financial services (banking, wealth management, or capital markets).
- Hybrid 3 days on-site in downtown Vancouver
- Worked with multi-year projects of $20M+
- Proven track record leading platform migrations or large-scale system transformations (preferably Broadridge, FNZ, or similar financial platforms).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR, SOX).
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery frameworks in complex enterprise environments.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications preferred.
