GIS/Geospatial Data Scientist

A northern Virginia based consulting company that works with state and local governments is looking for a GIS/Geospatial Data Scientist to join their team, as a full-time employee. Ideal candidates will be able to work at least 3 days onsite in northern Virginia and have at least 5+ years of professional experience. Experience with some sort of professional geospatial work in the past is required, preferable with ArcGIS or GeoPandas, along with Python, SQL and AWS. Candidates much hold at least a Top Secret Clearance (with a preference to a TS/SCI). Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with a GIS or geospatial project
• Python, SQL and AWS
• Model creation and Machine Learning experience is a plus
• An Active Top Secret Clearance
