A cutting-edge organization specializing in advanced hardware and software security solutions is looking to add a Hardware Engineer to their growing team. Located in Waterloo, they are seeking individuals with strong PCB design skills and ideally some RF experience. - 4+ years of experience in building production-scale electronics
- A degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Mathematics. Postgraduate degrees are a plus.
- Solid skills on analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit and PCB design.
- Strong skills in signal processing, preferably including digital signal processing.
- Strong math skills, specifically related to transmission lines modeling and analysis, s-parameters manipulation, calibration, and de-embedding, etc.
- Familiarity with analog and digital measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNA, logic analyzers).
- Familiarity with RF, transmission lines, and general EM theory.
- Software skills (C/C++ embedded programming, Python and shell scripting) are a plus
