This company in the industrial robotics space is looking for a Director of Product Management to join their team. They build an autonomous robot that loads and unloads packages from trucks in warehouse settings. This is a full-time, hybrid role in their office in Cambridge, MA.

In this role, you will work very closely with engineering teams, marketing, regulatory, R&D, as well as a variety of other internal and external stakeholders to iterate on the existing product and find new avenues to pursue. You will initially have one Senior Product Manager reporting into you and within a year, oversee multiple additional Product Managers as you expand their Product organization. You’ll have a balance of hands-on responsibilities in terms of their flagship robot and organizational planning responsibilities as the leader of the Product Management Practice.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Ex: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, etc.)
  • 8+ YOE in Product Management
  • Experience working with industrial robotics/warehouse automation products
  • Passion for increasing efficiency and reducing the physical burdens within warehouse settings
  • Experience overseeing new feature development for both software and hardware robotics products
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and align those with internal objectives

Daily Responsibilities
  • Lead business requirements and VoC
  • Oversee the development of new features for their existing robot and eventually, new product opportunities to pursue
  • Support development of product lifecycle management strategy
  • Align stakeholder goals both internally and externally
  • Establish best practices within the product management organization
  • Train individual contributors in the product group and lead the hiring process to expand your team
