As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team.

They are looking for a talented Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of successful product development in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Mechanical Design:

    • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
    • Drive mechanical design activities, including 3D modeling, analysis, and prototyping.
  2. Technical Leadership:

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a cross-functional team of engineers.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  3. Innovation and Problem Solving:

    • Champion innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Address complex engineering challenges and develop creative solutions to meet project objectives.
  4. Design Verification and Validation:

    • Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure product performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Work closely with testing and validation teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  5. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure that mechanical designs meet all relevant regulatory standards and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on medical device development.
  • Proven experience leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements for medical devices.
