A mission-driven data analytics startup based in Washington, DC is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their growing team.
They boost fundraising for political campaigns and nonprofit organizations that otherwise lack the capital to create sizeable social impact. This company is currently building a new B2B SaaS, leveraging their vast database of 20M+ past donors.
Candidates who are interested in working on a highly collaborative startup team that are passionate about working with progressive and non-profit organizations will thrive in this role.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency with Python, Apache Airflow, and GraphQL.
- Experience setting up/optimizing cloud infrastructure
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or non-relational databases
Desired Experience
- Demonstrated use of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
- Experience bringing a product from 0 to 1.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
