I'm reaching out on behalf of an early-stage startup based in Arlington, VA that is looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to join their fast-growing team.
Given the largely diplomatic and defense-minded nature of our armed forces and the trends of cyber security with our foreign adversaries, the founders' mission is to ensure the capability and readiness for cyber warfare through improving our offensive tactics. They are building an always-on platform that provides operational information to identify strategies for sabotaging foreign assets, network hacking, etc. What They're Looking For:

- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer
- 1+ years of serving as technical lead of a team building a product
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience scaling web apps on the backend with Golang and/or Python
- Experience setting up cloud infrastructure in AWS and/or GCP
- 0 to 1 development or experience working in a fast-paced environment
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
