Database Architect

Located onsite in Ashburn, VA, our client is seeking a full-time Database Architect to join their highly collaborative technology team. They are a leader in direct fundraising platforms for conservative campaigns and political causes, working with cutting-edge data and analytics to empower influential organizations. This role is hands-on and onsite—ideal for an expert looking to shape sophisticated data solutions in a fast-paced environment.
This person will become the go-to subject matter expert (SME) for the organization’s massive donor database and data lake. You’ll work closely with the VP of Technology, leading a full-scale restructuring of database architecture to ensure seamless access to donor information, historical data, and analytics.
Required Skills & Experience ·

• Extensive experience architecting and designing enterprise-level databases
• Data modeling and schema design for large datasets
• Hands on experience with Azure SQL / ETL / Python
• Experience structuring and optimizing data lakes
• Proven ability to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in fundraising, nonprofit, or political data environments
• Strong communication skills and business acumen
• Familiarity with data analytics/reporting solutions
