We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team for a long-term contract in Atlanta, GA (hybrid).
Contract Duration: 12 Months on W2 with the potential to extend or convert
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS
- Prior experience in software development, QA, DevOps, or systems engineering.
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand technical challenges
- Experience with cloud platforms specifically AWS
- Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile principles.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status clearly
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner)
- SAFe Scrum Master or other scaled Agile certifications
- Understanding and focus on business outcomes
- Strong teamwork skills
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities:
- Scrum Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Team Support: Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices and principles.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key performance indicators.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Tool Management: Administer Agile tools such as Agility
