Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing software company in the SaaS space, is seeking a Data Operations Manager for a full-time leadership role. This position is based remotely with collaboration across distributed teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring database performance, security, and scalability, while leading a team of database professionals and overseeing customer data migration initiatives.

Full-Time / Permanent
Hybrid 1 day a week in Atlanta.

Required Skills & Experience
· 8+ years of database administration and management experience
· 4+ years of leadership experience managing database teams and strategic initiatives
· Strong experience with cloud database technologies (Azure preferred)
· Proven track record of managing high-availability database environments (99.9%+ uptime)
· Expertise in database performance monitoring, tuning, indexing, and optimization
· Strong understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements (SOC 2, NIST)
· Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and customer onboarding workflows
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

Desired Skills & Experience
· Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases
· Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure SQL
· Experience with automation of database operations
· Familiarity with data validation, transformation, and reconciliation processes

· 30% Leading and managing strategic projects (data migrations, scaling, automation)
· 20% Team leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams
